Blogiversary {Giveaway}

Folks, who knew, that after having sinus surgery and deciding that I should start using the sewing machine I bought 6 months ago, I would be here. Welcome to my 4 year blogiversary. Wow!!

Sometimes, I am amazed that I kept with a hobby for 4 years and other times I can’t believe its only been 4 years, its gone by so fast.

This year has been an amazing journey. I want to thank all of you who have joined me and supported me on this journey, both here and on Instagram (IG). Looking at October 2015 through September 2016, these are some of my most memorable projects & WiPs. mosaicdd25f3e4fb290200b7e0c21c02c4d93b5baf4c6d

This year has been a big year. I have loved experimenting and playing with different techniques and color. I have loved teaching my new quilting classes. I hope the year ahead is as good to me…I know it is starting out well.

    2. I’m interested in how other quilters feel about creativity and using the Internet, browsing blogs and Instagram. Does it help or hurt their creativity???

    I can’t be said to be a modern quilter, but neither can my quilts be called strictly traditional. I’m interested in continuing to see where my ideas lead me, and also in improving my almost non-existent FMQ skills.

    Congratulations on your 4 year anniversary! I am really interested in design related decisions and just learning more about how others approach different aspects of the quilting process. I learn something new every time someone is willing to share some in depth “behind the scenes” thoughts on their decisions or process.

    Congratulations! I’m interested in the actual quilt . stitching and how one decides the designs and techniques to use on a project. I’m also interested in ways to incorporate scraps in more modern designs.

    Congrats on the blogiversary! Currently I’m obsessed with curves and clothes. I have some of hubbies old shirts I want to repurpose for my girls but have a hard time starting on things without a pattern something I need to work on because it keeps me from trying so many projects.

    I follow via IG and pretty sure by email.
