209. I have taught myself to free motion quilt and love making pebbly circles. However I could use a whole lot more instruction in every aspect of it. It gives such a fascinating effect. I love it.

213. I would like to polish all my skills in FMQ. So far, I have only done practice slabs and everyday placemats. I would like to move on to lap quilts and TV watching quilts, which do not really have to be perfect. Then, I would like to finish up some of the tops I have waiting for quilting.

217. I have been dabbling in fmqing but I have not been able to do the meandering stitch. I have no muscle memory it seems and I start out great and end with spikey sharp edges instead of soft round ones. Needless to say I stay away from that and have had success with a few others but still learning.

235. Just about a month ago I finally figured out how to fit the walking foot on my machine and did some ‘true’ machine quilting. Boy, do I have a lot of room for improvement! It may sound funny, but meandering seemed somewhat easy since it’s so random. When I tried sewing a straight line, it was a hot mess! So that’s what I’d like to know how to do. Thanks!
