I love giveaway day held by Sew Mama Sew. Its such a great time to give back to community.
This year, I am going simple. In the 2.5 years of sewing, can you believe I have already purchased 650 yards of fabric from Hawthorne Threads!!!! I love their service and selections. I even purchase fabric for my Mum in New Zealand from them due to their fabulous international shipping/services.
So, I am giving away $75 gift card to Hawthorne Threads. Maybe you can pick up some of these new lines that I also just picked up (NOTE: images are screenshots of Hawthorne Threads New Arrivals section)….

1. I want to make a quilt for my newest granddaughter. I already have the fabric. Just need to get some other projects finished and then I can start!
2. I really want to make a swoon quilt in navy and corals
3. The #1 quilt on my wish list is the queensize bed quilt design in my head for my niece’s wedding gift. She’s getting married this month, but I won’t be able to make it in time for the wedding due to other commitments. It’s getting quite insistent about being made, though, and the design is almost fully evolved in my mind! Getting it done would not only gain her a lovely quilt, but it will stop the dratted thing nagging me! Thank you for your past introduction to Hawthorne threads; I too buy a fair amount from them and find their selection and service second to none.
4. Oh, and as I’m a follower, this is my second comment! Fingers crossed!

41. I’ve had an “ocean” quilt in mind for a year or so for my great niece–not exactly a graduation present, but she will be graduating. (I’ve made quilts for other great nieces and nephews, but she was born before I started that, and I am getting caught up.) I’ve been gathering fabrics ever since I got the idea, and I have the basic outline. Just not sure whether to piece in squares, triangles, or improv. Clearing out other small projects so I can make a decision and get started.

I have gone through your posts and see that you teach improv one day I would love to take your class. Thank you, Lydia
