I love giveaway day held by Sew Mama Sew. Its such a great time to give back to community.

giveawaydaymay6This year, I am going simple. In the 2.5 years of sewing, can you believe I have already purchased 650 yards of fabric from Hawthorne Threads!!!! I love their service and selections. I even purchase fabric for my Mum in New Zealand from them due to their fabulous international shipping/services.

    660. My number one wish list project is a king sized bed quilt for myself. Due to its size, I think I’ll use the QAYG method. I’m thinking a blue, orange and grey palette.

    668. Wow! Thanks for the best giveaway ever. I love Hawthorne Threads as well. Right now I’m working on a storm at sea paper pieced quilt that I hope to finish at least one of them in time for the County Fair in August.

    680. Oh what a great idea! I’d love to make some wigwams including one each for my niece and nephew for the summer (they are both 3 and love playing outside). It’s been on my to do list for too long!
