My favorite color is just about any saturated color out there. Katarina’s fabric, pictured at the top of your blog, is an excellent example of what Iove! I’d make wall art/mini’s for my sewing space to keep me motivated and inspired!

I’m not sure I have just one favorite color – I love colorful! I use teal (and reds and pinks and blues and greens and yellows and…) in my quilts, and as examples of how I’ve used teal, I made a quilt for my first granddaughter in tones of teal, fuschia and soft grey on white, and another log cabin quilt in teal batiks on a black background. Thanks for the chance to win these fabulous fabrics!

I love blue in a quilt. I will make a blue and white quilt, blue scrap quilt, you name it. I think it’s because it makes me think of the ocean and the sky.

My favorite color, which came as a surprise to me, actually, is orange. I love it with green, light purple, and brown. Fall colors.

I love blue and yellow together, I made a small quilt few years ago with this combination, and just love it! I still have blue and yellow (a lot!) in my stash!

Purple has been my favourite since I was little, with Pink a close second. But I love lots of colours. I am planning to work on a purple based quilt, which surprisingly I have not done yet.

My current favorite color is navy blue. I’m using it in almost everything I’m sewing as a dark neutral. I love how it makes all the other colors pop!

What a gorgeous batch of fabric! I have been wanting to use brown and pink in a quilt. Brown is such a strange color to me, but I think if it’s used right…it could work out well!

Love that magenta color but really am being pulled towards the teal. I’d use it to make an animal blanket for a child’s toy for Christman time. Thanks for the chance.

Orange is the new black for me – I have been pairing it with the usual suspects, but really want to jump out of my 71 y/o box and do something with bright orange, pink, red, and maybe throw a purple in just for fun!

Blue is my favorite color – any shade, but especially Cobalt Blue. I like to use it with cream and grey colors to make quilts (or anything). Thanks!

Aqua is a favorite of mine. Although I love most shades of blue, the aqua tones are the ones that seem to keep finding their way into my quilts. I like to make any type of sewn project with aqua fabrics and I mix them with just about any color. One combination I really like is aqua, lime green and navy. I also painted the walls in a small bathroom a beautiful shade of aqua. My husband only tolerates it, but I LOVE it! I really enjoyed Katarina’s post — she showed lots of lovely fabrics and quilts!

I’m ready for the borders for my Fall Tree Face I started in Melissa Averinos’ workshop in Kansas City a few weekends ago. (I tried to put a pic of it here but it didn’t work. Check it out on my Instagram under cmlrubato.) I have been thinking about putting a teal blue on the top and left borders (next to the leaves/hair) and hot pink elsewhere. I love those colors together and I sighed a happy sigh just now when I saw these colors together above. First choice would be #1 and #6. Then I looked closer at #2 and all those colors are in my face. MMMMM!!

I love the aubergine/eggplant shade of purple. I painted our kitchen chairs that color and love it as a home decor accent in textiles. I haven’t used it much in quilting, as I usually make quilts for others and use colors they like most.

I love the striped Avant Garde color. I want to make a bright quilt and use it for a stripy, colorful binding. It would be great with all those other fabrics on the photo in the main body of the quilt.

    I Love Blue!!
… although I really like All colors, and am especially drawn towards wonderful saturated colors, like Katarina’s!!
I’m collecting blues… Light and dark teals, aquas, navy, as well as my old favorites, “midnight blue” and “peacock blue”… for a quilt for me! (I have given all my quilts away, and have never kept one for myself!!)
    Thank you!…

Most shades of blue, including teal and turquoise, sneak into any quilt I make. I’m inspired by nature and the color palette of every season. I love how Katarina’s fabric collections have saturated colors and also soft colors yet they can usually work together. I would add this stack to my other KR fabrics to make quilt!

I love that striped fabric. Probably blue is my favorite color. I make quilts, sometimes pin cushions, so I would make a quilt with the fabric bundle if I won. Thanks for the chance.

My favorite colors are all in the blue family–teal, turquoise, aquamarine, and all of those water names like pool, lagoon, pond, . . . ! My daughter’s new home needs pillows for the couch–and she loves blues with grey–so . . .

I chose teal/aqua as the colour for my open living/dining area so I’m into those 2 colours and all their variations, dreaming up quilts, table runners, placemats etc. Table runner is in progress! So these fabrics would help me continue my creative house decorating quest 🙂
