I had a blast last night at Spoonflower’s Greenhouse – Pins and Needles event. The event is held once a month, where folks who are interested in fiber arts/crafts such as knitting, crocheting and sewing, come together and spend 2 hours concentrating on their projects (similar to like a sew in).
I had a lot of cutting to do, since I am starting a new project for the book review, coming next week. I won’t give too many details so you have a surprise, but have pulled the fabric. I am using my favorite line at the moment – Safari Moon with some matching Kona solids. I am almost done with cutting the pieces.
These two colors will be included. I am hoping to have these cut later today…then on to sewing!!
Linking up with Lee over at Freshly Pieced for WiP Wednesday (see button on the right).
The colors of that Safari Moon line are luscious. I think picking the fabrics is the best part of starting a new quilt.
Love those fabrics, especially that top one with the birds it’s beautiful 🙂
ahhhhh. the colors.
Your evening sounds divine! (And am loving these colours!)
Those fabrics are gorgeous. Can not wait to read your review and see what you are making.
Enjoy those Safari Moon prints!! Hope you get it all done in a timely manner;)
Lovely! I just bought some of the moth print – what a gorgeous line! Can’t wait to see your finish : )
Will you bring the finished product to the next Pins & Needles? I would love to see it. So happy I found your blog. It’s lovely!
