I even purchase fabric for my Mum in New Zealand from them due to their fabulous international shipping/services.

    458. My sister started to make an Ipad case before she passed away in January. I am going to finish it but make it into a sewing case for my mother. Hawthorne Threads is a great shop!

    460. I just started and finished a ton of projects all on short deadlines as gifts, so at this point my #1 wish would be to tackle the unfinished objects bin, starting with a knit sweater that’s been sitting there for about 2 years (because I keep changing the size… because i keep losing and gaining and losing weight)

    466. I’ve never ever made a blanket size quilt before, and I have been wanting to do it for a while but big size quilts just intimidates me! However, I saw a wonderful Herribone Quilt As You Go tutorial and I would really really really love to start on that project!!!

    470. My wish list is pretty long, but number 1 is a Storm at Sea quilt. I love the optical illusion of curves.

    487. I think I’d really like to make a La Passacaglia quilt – but I’m too scared (mostly of it becoming a half finished quilt in a box somewhere)

    490. I really want to sew a drunkards path quilt, it will probably be an improv style pattern but with semi & quarter circle blocks. I am yet to try sewing with circles or curves but am keen to try & love the extra design potential of a curved block. Thanks for the chance to win this lovely prize, Hawthorn Threads are one of my favourite fabric shops.

    496. My top three these days are building inventory to put in a new local shop, recovering a mid century thrift store chair, and starting my teenage son’s quilt (notice I didn’t say finishing!). Your QDAD designs are stunning, by the way. Truly. Thanks so much for the chance!
