Over the last couple of months, I have felt like I have been making little progress on things. I think it is more about that the pile of WiPs is shrinking so slowly. Anyway, to change that feeling, I am celebrating the small things today.
I have finished a quilt back for Idea, Design, Create Quilt which I finished back in April. I mostly used left over scraps, including some selvages, and the main panel print from the Cloud 9 Biology prints.
I really loved the improv, patchwork look for this back. The colors in this fabric line – I love!!
It is all ready now to ship off to Sarah @crinklelove for quilting. On to the next project!
Linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts for finish it up Friday.
Great use of selvages, Michelle! 🙂
Fun way to use up scraps, and use a fun panel on the back! Look forward to seeing how it is quilted!
Incredibly cool quilt! You did a beautiful job.
Improv is so hard for me. You did a nice job with the selvedges. I love the front of this. It will be so worth all the time you are putting in. Great project!
I love the idea of the panel with the selvages included. Now looking at my stash a bit differently.
I don’t think this quilt has a front or back–it just has 2 glorious sides!
It’s a great back, and is just as beautiful as the front. Turn it over on days when you need inspiration!
This fabric line is really good. I definitely did not notice it till I saw you work with it.
I really like the front, but that backing is gorgeous, too! Great job!
I think I like the back as much as the front!
The back is gorgeous! We sometimes forget to celebrate the small things. I’m glad you reminded us ~ slow down and smell the roses! Thank you!
That’s a fabulous backing for a great top!
This is going to be such a beautiful finish – the colours and prints are all just fantastic.
