I have finally got back to my Spoonflower Sampler quilt, which has been lying around since last August.
I worked on the quilting last night at Spoonflower’s Pins & Needles. I am doing various straight line quilting designs, using the bottom middle block as a focal point.
And you can see the quilting a little better on the back and I am loving the texture. The lines are my usual 1/2″ apart.
Last year, I also promised to provide the instructions for each block, finally I have managed to get around to that and plan on releasing at least two blocks each week.
Linking up with Lee over @ Freshly Pieced for WiP Wednesday (see button on the right).
Looks amazing! The quilting really complements the pattern and fabric choices.
I like how the focal block is offset, I think it is going to be a great way to draw your eye around the quilt.
Beautiful! So harmonious in all its variety! Great quilting!
Great colors. Awesome quilting!
Wow I am so impressed by your productivity this month! I have had some major sewing blahs, and even when I am sewing I feel like I am barely putzing around, yet making a huge mess. I like the different directions the straight lines go. I bet the texture is awesome!
Great quilt! Awesome blocks and I like where your quilting is going.
I’m looking forward to seeing the block tutorials! I’m a fan of the 1/2″ quilting…very pretty!
What great blocks–I can’t wait to try one! The colors aren’t something I’d ever think of putting together–but I LOVE them!
This is just simply amazing! What a fantastic and well thought out design – I love everything about it!
I just recently got some fabrics from Spoonflower and have had a lot of fun cutting into them so far. It was the first time that I’ve ordered from them, but I don’t think it will be the last.
Wow, what a beautiful quilt! Great colours and design
Beautiful quilt – and the texture is awesome 🙂
