Mystery Book
This week, how about a little game , a mystery book?? A completely different approach, I know,  but I hope you will have fun.  Here’s how we will play….below are 10 clues, take a guess of what the book is, by leaving a comment. If you are a follower, leave a second comment.

Next week, I will review the book, and I will randomly select a winner who will win a hard copy of the book (your answer does not have to be correct just give it a go).

WiP Wednesday: Cutting (ack!!) and Tuesday Winner (yay)

For the 30 mins for 30 days sewing challenge, I said I would concentrate on my X & + Blocks and try and finish the top. First steps though….cutting, which as you know I hate!! I am going to try and concentrate on 20 blocks at a time so it does not overwhelm me.

Last night, those who saw my instagram pic (ml_wilkie) saw I was cutting…after 1 1/2 hours this was the result; 4 green blocks, 3 blue blocks all ready to be sewn up:

The other project, I am hoping to finish this month (possibly this weekend) is my initial trial of my paper piecing pattern for the Tapa Star striped block (if you are on instagram you would have seen this):

February finishes – March madness

I accomplished my main goal for February which was the Riley Blake Challenge quilt, so that is the first time (maybe the second) I actually made my “A lovely year of finishes” goal. Now, that is a big deal for me.

Here are how my other month goals feared. I think I had a really great month.
