So I don’t have strep throat, yay!!! Its only a flu/cold virus. I should be feeling more myself by Monday.
Over this past weekend, I worked on the placemats that are a Christmas gift. I think they are turning out great. One down, three to go.

Lovely… and definitely a more manageable sort of quilting project… at least if you are like me who gets so excited to piece together the top but then loses interest in favor of a new project before the whole bedcover gets quilted. I think your recipient will be pleased. 🙂

Oooh I like these very much! I’m yet to take on a quilting project but placemats could be a good starting point. Does your sewing machine have special quilting stitches? My machine is very basic, do you think it would still be suitable?
