So, I have finally finished my quilt top for my “four seasons in one day”. This is my first quilt top ever – it fits a twin. I was by myself the day I finished and had about 30 minutes of light left….so these are the best photos I have for now – I used my son’s playground as my photo assistant 🙂
Some details:
- The tree design is my own.
- All buttons and sequins are hand sewn on.
- Joel Dewberry Notting Hill Jelly roll was used for the 1/2 Chevron border and the center borders. (thanks to all those who provided the encouragement to finish the Chevron border – it turned out great).
- The corners of the border is just Kona Cotton yellow and red (the corners are not perfect but I still love how it turned out).

Wow! I didn’t know this was your first quilt top. So impressive. Your chevron border turned out fantastic!
Thanks – I loved it too 🙂
The borders turned out really great, I’m glad you went through with them! It’s much bigger than I imagined it! Somehow I was picturing it wall-hanging sized.
Thanks – I just hope it works as a bed quilt. I am going to try it with my son when done before gifting it.
Lovely work, it is beautifullly done, love the button detail and the chevron border looks fabulous!
Thank you 🙂
Wow!
This is your first quilt top and you produce something this beautiful?
I am so impressed!! Well done!
Thank you so much – what a nice thing to say 🙂
