I know I am leaving this to the last-minute to join the Bloggers Quilt Festival….I couldn’t decide what to choose, or if I was going to link-up anything. Needless to say, I have decided to enter. I loved this particular project, as it was for my son. He uses it every night and loves it. Is that not the best reward??
I am entering his pillow “Wonky Universe” for the mini quilt section link-up. It is made mostly from Lizzie House Constellations mini charms. I added a wonky star in one corner to add a visual focus.
I loved the wonkiness of the pillow in the mismatched squares and in the star. I also enjoyed the multi-colored quilting in this cushion. I used both yellow and navy thread. Here is a close-up.Β
Love it
Thank you π
Great use of mini charms! What thread is that?
I think it is sulky from Joann’s
Perfect choice Michelle, good luck!!
Thanks I love your choices too π
Great fabric choices!!
Thank you π
I’m working on a similar yard quilt, but with only darks. I really like the lights you’ve used… hmmm. Very nice!
Thank you. This was a fun project π
love it! i asked for that fabric bundle for my birthday and i love the idea of adding one pop of color from a yellow star π
Thank you. It is a fabulous bundle, good choice for a birthday present π
forgot to ask you…do you have a good tutorial for an envelope pillow cover?
I have these two posts that might help

https://factotum-of-arts.com/2012/09/08/recycled-mens-ties-sofa-cushions/
the book Pillow pop also has instructions for variations.
This one is also a good tutorial you can take what you need from it.
