One of New Zealand’s fantastic native trees is the Kowhai tree. It has the most wonderful colored flowers and fine delicate leaves.
Once again, Juliet from Tartankiwi, came up with a fabulous paper-piecing pattern for this wonderful flower. I will definitely be including this in my New Zealand bird quilt.

Lovely block!
Your kowhai block looks great.
Very pretty 🙂
Awesome block! That NZ quilt is going to be the cat’s pajamas!
I have heard of the bees knees or the cat’s meow but never the cat’s pajamas, LOL
Fabulous!
I’m looking forward to making this one!!
Juliet is such a talented and creative quilter. This pattern is lovely.
