Participating in Quilt design a Day has been wonderful. It has allowed me to put some ideas down and try out some of those designs.
I am in the process of writing up the patterns for the following quilts and I am looking for at least 2 testers per pattern. I hope to have the patterns written by the end of the month (30th November), and would like to have the feedback finished end of December. Note: Since it is Christmas and all I would be open changing the date mid-January.
“Ranger’s Station”
Technique is all piecing, the middle blocks are 18 x 18″ each. The quilt finishes at 60 x 60″.
“Celestial Spheres”
Technique for this one is needle turn applique. It currently is written for a 36″ x 36″ finish, but would love feedback for this from the testers.
I will link up the tester’s projects during the launch of the pattern and their blog. The tester will receive both patterns for free.
Just leave a comment below with your

On another note, look at this fantastic quilt from Bethany @ Sew Impressed, she made up one of my designs (week 13) for charity (donating to her local children’s hospital). Thank you Bethany for sharing it with me.
Hope you all are having a good weekend, I will announce the giveaway winner for the coffee cup sleeve and scrap bag (remember it closes at 6pm today).
Oh poop, would love to be a tester but the next couple of months are going to be insane. (Always the way this time of year….) Can’t wait to see these get made up and released! 🙂
I would give Rangers Station a try. Joanne, http://www.quiltsbyjoanne.blogspot.ca
Ooooh I wonder if I can squeeze time in for Ranger Station… how much fabric do you anticipate for it? half yard cuts? Yard cuts? fat quarters?
two 1/2 yards for two of the main colors, the other two fat quarters are fine. The border is obviously more (still working that one out).
Ranger Station looks like it will be a winner! We are having new carpeting put in though so I couldn’t sew anything until December…. Maybe I could test a pattern with different deadline though!
Sent you an email about Celestial Spheres.
I would like to test Ranger station, Jackie Mills, @gingernlemon
I would be willing to test Ranger Station for you.
