This weekend was very productive. I managed to get all three receiving blankets finished. They are gifts for my colleagues, each has a new baby boy. I love how they turned out, the colors are fantastic. 
I have decided, I am not a huge fan of the minky dimple dot – lots of vacuuming needs to be done to remove all the fluff of my floor. Each of the quilts have minimal quilting, just some simple lines to hold everything in place. The final details for each quilt:

The size makes it a nice quick project. Each one probably takes about two hours and you get a great finish !!

Not bad, I just pinned every 2 inches and sewed with the cotton side up and it went smoothly.

Thank you. All the colors worked out so well. Unfortunately, I have 9 -12 yards of it in various colors. Looks like I will be making a lot more baby blankets to use it up 😉
