This week, we announced the Gypsy Wife Quilt Along. Are you looking for a replacement QAL for the City Sampler? Then this is perfect.
It took some revisions, but I think we finished an initial plan for the Quilt Along. The schedule for finishing the quilt in December is below, it is never too late to join us over on flickr.

5. I’d use dark toned Kaffe Fasset huge florals from Westminster Fabrics. I like the idea of a dark gypsy wife. I’d put pings of turquoise, cerise and emerald to make it sparkle. Would love a copy of the pattern, even if I have no idea when I’d get round to doing it. I’ll be following the QAL with interest.
6. This quilt looks amazing (and challenging!). I love Michael Miller fabrics, but I have no idea what I’d use. Thanks for the chance to win 🙂
7. I love the look of this quilt! I would use my stash, and I have a lot of bright colors. If I can afford it, I would really like to buy new fabric and use light blur/turquoise, brown, green, white, and maybe some orange.

14. I have a decent amount of liberty leftover from my dwr and would absolutely love to dig into those for this beautiful pattern!!

18. OOh winning this pattern would be awesome, especially since it is all out of that place you linked to! I would try to use scraps, I think (my first scrap project!?) Unless I see a fabric line that calls out to me before I start 🙂
I reached out to Amanda @westwood acres fabrics and asked about the pattern being restocked….she did mention she had reordered and more will be in stock soon (just in case ;-))
19. I plan on using my scrap bin of strings and orphan blocks that I have these sizes. I really need to attack my scraps this year. I don’t know what color scheme I will try to stick with just yet. Thanks for the chance to win.

41. I’m thinking solids, possibly monochromatic, in all different shades of blue, though possibly purples/greens too. It’s such a busy design, I’m wondering how it’d look with simpler fabrics.
