Making something from a design is always, for me a great accomplishment. I do not take a lot of my ideas/designs all the way to making it. Today, though, I have made this mini quilt top, which I may turn into place mats and a table runner.
The design I came up with for one of the “Quilt Design A Day” was this simple wonky chevron design.
I paper pieced the wonky chevron design which is ~6″ x 10″. I am used peppered cottons for the chevrons purchased from my LQS (who also has an online store):
The sashing fabric is Flax Yarn Dyed Essex linen which I bought at Fresh Modern Fabrics.
That is my finish for this week, and linking up with Amanda Jean @ Crazy Mom Quilts.
That was my favorite of your designs that I saw! So glad you took it to that next step. It looks great!
Love the colours, they’re gorgeous..essex linen is a favourite background of mine!
Such a great design!
Oooooh it looks awesome!!! I love seeing QDADs come to life! It makes my day, every time. 😀
Looking good!
Sweet. Are you going to share the pattern at all…please
