Some folks last week asked about the details for the Quilt design a day. So here there are:
- Quilt Design a Day is hosted by Anne over @ Play Crafts (check out her designs)
- You can join the group via Facebook.
- I use threadbias.com for designing, others are using EQ7 or Inkscape
This week I struggled a bit. There a couple of designs I like.
“Vineyard” reminded me of rows at a vineyard. This is one of my favorites of the week.
I revisited my Tapa Cloth design from last week and used some blues.
I went with a mod design with this color palette. I initially loved the color palette but when I was adding it to the design I was not overly crazy about it.
This was a very literal interpretation of the inspiration. My “Ruffled feathers”
This design actually started tonight as a new placemat design in shades of green. I adapted that design to a quilt and changed the color palette.
Week 1 can be found here.
Linking up with Kelly over at Sew Fresh Quilts for Let’s bee social (see button on the right).
I am a huge fan of the tapa cloth pattern. I love the colors and the design.
Lovely colors.
Beautiful designs, I like the tapa cloth the best!
Those are all pretty, but I especially like the feathers and chevrons!
