This weekend, I spent some time over @Spoonflower’s Greenhouse teaching a quilt finishing class. It went really well. I did my first mini trunk show and walked through some of the techniques I used for each of my quilts.
While talking, I realized how much I have learned in the two years I have been quilting. I could not have done it without the fabulous online resources the quilting community offers. I wanted to share some of those tutorials and classes, I have enjoyed, with you.

Only two years , honest ?
What a great list of resources! The internet is such an amazing place to learn all this.
I can’t believe it is only 2 years for you, your sewing is amazing. Thanks for the links too, extra tips are always useful. x
It’s funny how your list looks so familiar because I learned technique from many of those bloggers too! Nice to have them in one place, thanks for compiling it and congrats on teaching and a trunk show – that’s pretty impressive for what some might call a newbie to quilting.
I have went to quite a few of those websites too to learn how to do things. I have done many of them one way and know that someone has figured out an easier way. I see some of my favs of yours in that collage too!
Congratulations on your first trunk show, Michelle! Those are some lovely projects you must have brought along. Yes, it is wonderful that we have this online quilting community to help us to learn and grow. And to support us as we continue on our quilting journey. So glad we are in this together!
Thank you for sharing that “finishing-school-link-collection”! I am still a beginner and very thankful for hints like this! Kind regards, Annett
Thanks for sharing these. It’s nice to have a collection of resources all in one place.
