WiP Wednesday: Odds & Ends

This week I am working on small projects which I need to finish off to get more items for my Etsy Store.

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced

  2. Gift Card holders for a custom order (1 black, 1 maroon/greens) and my store. I also started writing up a tutorial  (using the black pictures) on how to make them as they are a nice quick and simple project.

  3. My Christmas stocking which I did not start/finish in time for Christmas. Fabric chosen, purchased and arrived.

  4. Chair Bags for my store. I really need make some girlie ones as the ones listed at the moment are more boy friendly. Fabrics are chosen – these three will be appearing in my store soon.

Fantastic….new fabric from Spoonflower

Last month Spoonflower had a fat quarter sale – buy one get one free (~50% off). I got a little carried away and ordered 42 fat quarters. What can I say – i love the designs available at Spoonflower.

On the weekend the fabric arrived. I am so excited and happy with my choices.

Here is an overview look at the delivery:

I did have a couple of projects in mind for some of the fabrics. For the Orange and Grey Quilt (that now has a splash of green), I was planning on using these:

For a purple quilt like this one, that I have in mind for a future project:

For my coffee cup sleeves that I am making for my work’s Craft fair, I was going to use these as a feature fabric:

And then there were just miscellaneous fantastic fabric that I loved, one being a Volkswagen print which my husband will love:
