What do you think about when people mention the color pink? I think of Neapolitan ice cream, Pink Panther, Blossoms / Spring, Pinky Bars, Pigs / Miss Piggy and Breast Cancer awareness.
I am not usually a pink kind of person, but a while ago, I decided to start a very pink quilt for a friends daughter….”Neapolitan”. Here is the first two blocks, with a goal for a finish in July.

Why am I bringing this up, you might ask? Tonight, while catching up on blog posts, I discovered that Rachel over @ Stitched in Color is running my favorite competition again….yes, a mosaic contest!! The color palette, you guessed, is PINK!!!
I decided to enter a low-volume pink mosaic:
and for the second entry (and my favorite) a saturated palette of pink and orange:

I love that you slipped some Mind’s Eye in there… That’s possibly my all-time favorite fabric.
