Sunday Stash #4 – 2014: Goes Safari + Winner

I have a new favorite line everyone!!! Safari Moon. I did not see this one coming. I got my usual email from Hawthorne threads to say they had a new line in….I went to look and next thing you know I have 1/2 yards of the whole line.

The colors and designs are fabulous, look at those feather prints (blue and pink, middle) and those butterflies:

Sunday Stash #3 – 2014

The previous weeks of Sunday Stash 2014 I have posted about full bundles/fabric lines, which I tend to buy frequently. This Sunday Stash is about buying those pieces that you really like, and not splurging on the whole line.

First up, one of my favorite designers, Joel Dewberry’s and his new line Botanique (Purchased @Hawthorne Threads). I really liked these two prints/colors of Mosaic Bloom. I might go back and pick up some Domino, as well from this line – for now its on my list of possibilities.

Botanique

AGF came out with chromatics (purchased @Hawthorne Threads) and I picked up these prints: Triangularity (the ones on the left) and Pointelle (circles on the right). I loved the first two triangularity prints for some upcoming blocks that need some low-volumes. The rest I just thought made great stash pieces.Chromatics

Lastly, I am love with the colors and feel of the new Studio E Peppered Shot Cottons. These four, I purchased over the Christmas holiday at one of our Local Quilt Shops (Cary Quilting Company). Good news, I have a secret project in mind for these 🙂PepperShotCottons

That’s it for this week, linking up with the fabulous Molli Sparkles Sunday Stash.

Sunday Stash #2 – 2014

I love using low-volume fabrics. I decide to put together a low-volume mosaic, that I would like to buy. I have recently bought a few of these from Hawthorne threads.mosaic150332ee978d1256bac00c7120ae66f2ad224997
