A very short post today….
This week, I am working on all the blocks I need to get done by the end of the week….mostly Stash Bee Blocks and Gypsy Wife Blocks (February).
I had a blast last night at Spoonflower’s Greenhouse – Pins and Needles event. The event is held once a month, where folks who are interested in fiber arts/crafts such as knitting, crocheting and sewing, come together and spend 2 hours concentrating on their projects (similar to like a sew in).
I had a lot of cutting to do, since I am starting a new project for the book review, coming next week. I won’t give too many details so you have a surprise, but have pulled the fabric. I am using my favorite line at the moment – Safari Moon with some matching Kona solids. I am almost done with cutting the pieces.
These two colors will be included. I am hoping to have these cut later today…then on to sewing!!

First month of 2014 is over, and to be honest it was a little difficult to keep up with my goals, mostly due to the flu and bronchitis I had over the first two weeks of the month. Now that all is better, I am happy with what I accomplished in the shortened month.
This was the goals/plan for January:

For February, I need to revise my goals slightly. I think I can finish two lap –> full size quits per quarter….I think one per month may have been slightly optimistic. So here is the revised plan:
